This year's theme - 'To do justly'

 
 

The Church of Scotland Guild is a movement within the Church of Scotland which invites and encourages women to commit their lives to Jesus Christ, and enables them to express their faith in worship, prayer and action.

 

2009

OCTOBER

Wednesday 7th

2.15 p.m.

- "To do justly" - Leslie Donaldson on the new Guild Theme. Members of Trinity Guild invited.
         
Wednesday 21st

-

2.15 p.m. - "To do justly" in the penal system - Alastair Sinclair, retired Recorder to the Children's Panel.

 

NOVEMBER

Wednesday 4th

2.15 p.m.

- Bible Study.
         
Sunday 15th -     Soup and Sweet Lunch (after Morning Service).
         
Wednesday 18th - 2.15 p.m. - "To do justly" for Christians in Egypt - Morag Black.

 

DECEMBER

- Project afternoon including a Video of 'Mission Madagascar'.

Autumn Rally: Monday 28th September 2009 at 2.30 p.m. in St. Paul's Church Hall, Galashiels. Fiona Punton, the Guild Information Officer will speak about the new Projects for 2009 - 2012.
 
Carol Service: Monday 7th December at 7.15 p.m. in Innerleithen Church Hall.
 
Annual Business Meeting and Service of Holy Communion
  Tuesday 16th March 2010, at 2.15 p.m. in Earlston Parish Church.
 
Summer Rally: Wednesday 9th June 2010 at 7.30 p.m. in Lauder Church. Speaker: Sister Aelred from St Catherine's Convent, Edinburgh on their work with the needy.
